I took so many supplements that it pushed me further into burnout. One day when a friend was over and as I grabbed tea from the pantry she said: “Holy cow, do you take all those supplements?” I was so desperate to get some energy and feel better. I thought I was doing what I had to so I could get through my day, but I was making myself worse and missing the bigger picture of what needed to be done. The truth is that a high dose, or long-term use of supplements, can hurt us. If you consume a western diet, chances are you have an Omega-3 to Omega-6 imbalance. While both are essential to our body, when you consume way more Omega-6 than Omega-3, the risks are high blood pressure, obesity, heart attack, stroke, and depression.
