[00:00:02] Vesna: Welcome to the Peak Revival podcast. My name is Vesna Hrsto. I am your host. I'm a naturopath, executive wellbeing coach, and mind body peak performance specialist. Now I have wanted to do this podcast for years. In fact, when I told my friends I'm releasing a podcast, they were like, wow, you've wanted to do that for so long.
[00:00:20] Okay. So it's been on my to-do list. It's finally happening. And I'm super excited because I. content on my social media and in my community, the social media content is short content. So it doesn't allow me to go deeper into, into topics. And then the masterclasses that I offer are too long for women who are time-poor.
[00:00:43] So the podcast is a really happy medium for me to share the strategies on how to avoid or overcome burnout. Exhaustion, anxiety, brain fog, stress, and any metabolic and weight issues that are holding you back from looking and feeling your best. So if you are a professional woman or a woman in business, a mom who is juggling career and family, and you have a lot of drive and ambition, but the effects of long hours and juggling so much and excess stress has or is catching up with you, then this is the podcast for you.
[00:01:17] I love talking about peak performance. So anything from, you know, avoiding or overcoming burnout all the way up to Your best, like being your peak potential. And it's because I am a driven woman myself, and I have been through burnout twice in my career. in my first clinical practice, my first business, I worked long hours.
[00:01:35] I put a lot of pressure on myself. There was a lot of pressure, financial pressure and the expectations, and there was a lot to manage. And I was very young and business felt stressful for me, it felt inherently stressful, but since then I've had many insights and strategies and I want to share them on how to make life and work and career and business a lot easier through improving.
[00:01:58] your physical wellbeing [00:02:00] and mental wellbeing. So I'm going to talk about nutrition, psychology, mental wellbeing, circadian biology, and so much more. I work with women every day in my community and one on one. I know that they are capable of so much, but what ends up happening is that they take care of everybody else and everything else first, family, business.
[00:02:19] And they slowly start to burn out and everything becomes more stressful and more difficult. I'm going to share stories throughout these episodes of women who felt exhausted and stressed that they wanted to quit their business. They didn't have the energy to come home and be a mom. They weren't juggling the work-life balance to a place in a relatively short period of time to expanding their business, tripling their revenue, X.
[00:02:46] I'm excited to come home and spend time with their kids and achieving more in their work and their family and feeling like the best versions of themselves.
