I used to have this view that if you want something, just work for it!
Simple!
If it's not happening, then work harder. This can lead to exhaustion!
In recent years I've been learning a new lesson, what's meant for you, will be.
What's not meant for you won't be, or with enough pushing and striving you get it through pure persistence only to realise it doesn't give you joy.
Sometimes the things we wont most don't turn out the way the planned. While it's frustrating and we think its a refection of our abilities, our character or anything else personal, it's often not.
I remind myself everyday that I'm not the emperor of the universe, that there is a force that makes the sun rise, seasons change, turns a teeny-tiny tomato seed into a plant, my heart to pump 24/7even though it has no battery and people to heal for seemingly “incurable” illnesses.
If this life force creates perfection all around me, then surely it can create my life as long as I get out of my own way.
I often wonder if a plant seed contains everything it needs in order to grow, thrive and bear fruit, then I must also have internal instructions on how to thrive?
Why is this important?
If you've been stuck in one area of your life or pushing yourself to get to the next level of success, then I invite you to look at where you can get out of your own way, let go and allow this force to move through your life, freely.

We get caught up in so much overwhelm and anxiety that we can't see the way forward. I've found the times when I've “quit” on the things, suddenly a new insight comes through to give me direction on next steps.
