Hey, everyone. It's Vesna here. Just coming in with a quick video because I hear a lot of women talk about how they're so tired all the time.
It's definitely the number one thing that I see and that I treat. If you're busy running your business, and you feel tired all the time, or feel that real kind of fatigue all the time, then I want to give you just a quick tip on what can improve that and make that, just give you more energy during the day.
Fatigue feels like being chronically tired, feeling sleepy all the time. Even if you've had a good night's sleep, you most likely still feel tired during the day. Even if you've had a good weekend and you've relaxed, but you still feel tired.
It can also be having, getting headaches, feeling dizzy, you can get muscular aches and pains, you can have changes in your mood, feeling irritable. Also, poor concentration is a symptom of fatigue. Finding that you can't stay focused, you get distracted all the time.
Perhaps you're noticing it in your business with the shiny object syndrome. You're getting distracted and doing lots of different things.
Another way that that shows up in your business, and even if you don't recognize those symptoms of fatigue, is that you'll find that you won't get through your work. You won't get everything done.
You may find that you've got better energy in the morning, and worse in the afternoon, or the other way around. You may find that you're tired in the morning, so you're not as productive, but you've got energy at night to stay up late and do some work.
The other thing that I notice is that you're kind of missing your deadlines in your business and kind of like pushing those timelines out is what I tend to see for women in business who are suffering that fatigue, that kind of chronic fatigue or exhaustion.
The number one thing that I would normally recommend for women straight away is to, in order to increase their energy, is to just do one simple shift to your morning routine.
It's so basic, it's so simple, that you may think that it won't be enough, but trust me, it works every time. What I find is that women generally either jumping into their work straight away, as soon as they wake up, or maybe you've got to rush, get the kids ready in the morning before you start your work.
Therefore, the mornings are quite busy. What I tend to notice is that a lot of women will skip breakfast, or go for a long time before they eat anything. What happens is that your sugar levels start to plummet because you haven't broken your fast overnight, which is the whole idea of breakfast.
Once your sugar levels drop, your body initiates a stress response in order to start breaking down muscle tissue to then feed your blood glucose levels to give you the energy to keep going. But when that happens, what you're setting yourself up for is kind of fatigue during the day.
You could have your highs and lows during the day. It'll also make you crave a lot more carbohydrates, more coffee, more sugar, things like that, to keep you going because it's basically draining your body of energy.
The first thing that I recommend is my kind of number one go-to hack is 30 minutes after waking up, within the 30 minutes, you must have something to eat. Having something with some protein in there and some carbohydrates.
Even if you're not hungry, if you're too busy in the morning, I recommend to have just a handful of nuts, like almonds, pecans, cashews, macadamia, whatever you want.
If you find that when you go to your computer, if you've got a home office, and you go to your computer straight away, then leave the nuts on your table by your desk so there's no way that you can forget to have them.
Either way, have something in the morning to eat. Either have your breakfast within 30 minutes of waking, or have a snack, the nuts, a piece of fruit, some yogurt. Something that contains nutrition and some balance.
Do that starting tomorrow morning, and let me know how you go.
The other thing that I want to mention is if you want to know more hacks on how to get over the fatigue and the exhaustion, elevate your mood, and so that way you can feel better in your body and in your business, then I'm running a webinar this week.
I'm going to go through the five simple shifts to conquer fatigue, elevate your mood and to feel revitalised in your body and your business. It's my healthy body, healthy business plan.
I'm going to put a link below this video. If you want to jump onto that webinar, that would be great.
Also, too, what I might do is share a energy assessment kind of audit that I have. If you're not sure if you're kind of fitting the boxes for fatigue or chronic fatigue or adrenal fatigue, if you're not sure what you're feeling at the moment is a symptom of adrenal fatigue, then what you can do is I'll actually put a link below, as well.
I'll give you an assessment for an energy audit or an energy assessment:
