Our mind is like a computer, what you put in you get out.
If you dwell on stuff, over-analyse, or if you stay focused on negative thinking, you'll get more of it.
Negative thinking generates more negative thinking, it puts you into a low mood, creates stress, and floods the body with stress hormones and glucose – changing your body and your health.
Your mind solves problems, finds solutions to challenges, and provides insights so you can live your best life.
Be aware of what you're asking your mind to solve!
If you fill your mind with negativity (news headlines, politics, drama or problems) your mind will work to solve these issues, not work to expand your life, your business, upgrade your health, or anything that elevates you.
What we say matters, it's a reflection of what we're thinking. If we're stuck in a mental or negative loop, we talk about it a lot. I try to be aware of the language I use when I'm thinking or speaking because I've seen how it matters to my results.
I've seen people over the years use language that sabotages their goals, on one hand, they've signed up to make changes and on the other, they tell themselves it won't work….
” I can never stick to plans” or “Nothing works for me”
